„Conspiracy of Ravens“
Geplapper vorne weg: Fantasy. Es ist ja allgemein bekannt, dass ich fast nur in dem Kreis meine Runden ziehe. Aber wie kam es den eigentlich dazu., dass es FANTASY sein musste? Angefangen hat es damit, das ich in meiner Kindheit, während ich gemalt habe, mir Geschichte ausdachte und sie laut erzählte. Vor allem meinem kleinen Bruder. Oft Mals waren meine Geschichten wirr, ohne Struktur und sehr kindlich. Aber was sie alle schon damals besaßen, war, mein Drang zu neuen Welten, ungewöhnlichen Charakteren und fantasiereichen Szenarios. Und diese Kuriosität, etwas neues und fremdes zu entdecken, habe ich mir auch heute noch bewahrt und begonnen in Fantasy zu ertränken. Wortwörtlich.
Das was von mir heute aus meiner Kindheit. Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß bei meiner neune Rezi, die, wer hätte es erwartet, mal wieder von einem Fantasybuch stammt.

„Conspiracy of Ravens“, von J. C. Mckenzie, ist der erste Band der Ravencrawford Novellas.
Ich mochte Raven als Protagonistin sehr gerne, da sie mir auf vielen Ebenen sympathisch und sehr sarkastisch war. Auch die anderen Charaktere fanden bei mir Anklang, waren gut dargestellt und nachvollziehbar in ihren Handlungen. Die Geschichte begann langsam, nahm aber schnell an Fahrt auf, wurde immer wieder von kleinen Details ergänzt und fügte sich letztendlich zu einem großartigen Bild zusammen, was mir einfach nur gefiel. Der Schreibstil war locker, luftig und schnell zu lesen. Der Spannungsbogen blieb konstant und reichte schnell seinen Höhepunkt.
Der Weltenaufbau war gut, hätte aber gerne noch mehr ausgebaut und genutzt werden können. Außerdem waren an einigen Stellen die Emotionen sehr platt und kamen auch deswegen kaum bei mir an.
Schlechte Kritikpunkte habe ich nicht wirklich.

Der Schreibstil war locker, luftig und verbunden mit einer mitreißenden Story, ein tolles Erlebnis. Der Weltenaufbau war gut, hätte aber gerne noch mehr ausgebaut werden können und manche Emotionen der Charaktere waren mir zu flach und nicht wirklich erfühlbar. Fazit, toller Start, der Bock auf mehr machte!
Das Buch hat von mir 4/5🌹 bekommen.

„Conspiracy of Ravens“, from J. C. Mckenzie, is the first book of the Raven Crawaford Novellas.
I loved Raven as a protagonist, because she was symapthic, headstrong and absolutely funny. The other characteres were also very good, had impressionable depths and made me interested in the story. The wirting style was easy and understandable, the story kept me hooked until the end, the charging was constant and was good for the overall impression of the book.
The worldbuildung was good, had many exciting twists und turns, but was also somewhat lacking. I personally think, it could have done with more details and explanations. And sometimes the feelings of the protagonist were als flat and not reallys understandable.
„Conspiracy of Ravens“, from J. Z. Mckenzie, is the first book of the Raven Crawford Novellas. I liked the sympathic characters, which had interessing depths and faults. The story was good, kept me hooked and was underlinded with an easy, but comfortbale wirting style. The worldbuilding was good, but could havd done with more explanations, to give a more detailed overfew. And sometimes the feelings of the protagonists were flat and not really understandable. So, to sum everthing up, I was an enjoyable read and had me longing for more. Go and check it out!
I gave the book 4/5🌹 and will be continung the series.
