Und selbst wenn ich es jetzt noch anschaue, bin ich verliebt. Absolut verliebt. Sowie auch in die Aufmachung und Illustrationen des Buches. Viel Spaß bei der Rezi!

„How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories“, von Holly Black, hat mit einen der längsten Buchtitel, der mir je untergekommen ist 🙂
Zurück zum Buch.
Ein letztes Mal entführt uns Holly Black in die Welten der Feen und ihren barbarischen Eigenheiten. Ein letztes Mal und ganz ehrlich, es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Wir bekamen in dem Buch ganz persönliche Einblicke zu Cardans Vergangenheit, seine Motivationen und die Gründe, die ihn zu dem machten, der er ist. (War, egal.) Ich mochte das. Der Spannungsbogen wurde auch oben gehalten, der Weltenaufbau blieb gleich wie in den vorhergehenden Bände und es wurde nochmal etwas über die Nebencharaktere erzählt, aus einer anderen Sicht. Es war toll.
Mein einziger, großer Kritikpunkt ist, das die Story, die sogar einen Kern hatte, am Ende viel zu schnell abgehandelt wurde und das sie kaum Jude beinhielt. Das war traurig…
Fazit, ein absolut toller Zusatz. Empfehlung!
Das Buch hat von mir 4/5🌹bekommen.

Back to the book.
For one last time, Holly Black took us back to the relam of fearies and cruelty. One. Last. Time. And guys, it was good. In this book we got some shots in Cardans life (and his perspective), his motivations, emotions and which things made him like he was (is?) now. And I liked it. The charging was one point, the worldbuilding steady and we also got some new information about the sidecharacters, just from caradans view.
But I have one, big critic point. There was a red thread in the book, so a story. Sort of. And I would have found it a bit better, if it had included some moments with Jude and ending no to rushed. So sad…
So, to sum everything up, I loved it.
I gave the book 4/5🌹.
